Benefits of Dancing

Benefits of dancing - they're not exactly big secrets and a lot of them apply to both males and females. The obvious one is health benefits, the Mayo Clinic researchers report dancing:

1 - Reduces stress.

2 - Increases energy.

3 - Improves strength.

4 - Increases muscle tone and coordination.

Not just that but it can aid in losing weight (of course if you want to use this as a weight-loss method you'd have to do it often and have a well-balanced diet). The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) says that dancing can also:

1 - Lower your risk of coronary heart disease.

2 - Decrease blood pressure.

3 - Help you manage your weight.

4 - Strengthen the bones of your legs and hips.

Dancing is a very unique form of aerobic exercise but like most exercises how strenuous it is and the overall the duration play a factor in how much of a "work out" you're getting. The benefits of dancing in different styles is also evident.

Belly dancing will improve posture, keep you flexible, prevent lower back problems, helps with weight loss, reduces stress and much more. The benefits of ballroom dancing are conditioning the body, keeps heart in good shape, increases muscle tone, increases flexibility, increases balance, relieves stress, helps with weight loss, etc.

Now if the always-have-to-be-masculine-type-men are reading this let me just say you may think dancing is "fruity" but your woman doesn't, guaranteed. Women, in general, find it sexy. So go ahead and ask your woman if she wants to go dancing and if you do, DON'T complain even if you hate it. Keep reminding yourself it's for her not you.
